Surfacing Book Downloadable Files
I’ve had a few requests for the url of the downloads for the files that go along with the Surfacing Bible. It looks like the link was not included in the book. It is listed on the Amazon site, but I realize that not everybody buys stuff from Amazon.
I realize a lot of people will probably download the files without buying the book. There is in the neighborhood of 200 MB worth of data. I would ask that if you download the files and benefit from them at all, that you either throw a few bucks in the Tip Jar at the upper right of my blog, or go ahead and buy the book, which will benefit you even more when combined with the files.
Anyway, I don’t intend to be a hard sell, I just like to get paid for hard work.
So, here’s the link. You’ll also need a chapter list, and a link to buy the book.

I know you are on to bigger and better things, but I was hoping you could help me out. I bought a kindle version of the surfacing bible from Amazon. It appears that Wiley has dropped the title and also the page for downloading the part files. Is there anywhere else I can get the files?
I’ve got my Wiley contact working on getting me a new link. It was not supposed to get changed in their recent web update, but somehow, it did. I’ll put it here when I hear back.
Hi Matt – First off – glad you’re back doing this and the site has been resurrected. Regarding the surfacing book – Is this no longer in print? I’ve got a copy but it has been beaten to death out of use and I would love to get a new copy if they were available but the only ones for sale are going for over 300.00 because I guess they are hard to come by. Looking forward to your new 2018 SW Bible release if I heard correctly that you are working on this.

Yes, the surfacing book has been out of print for many years. I see hard copies for sale sometimes on ebay for a couple hundred bucks. I wish I still had a couple boxes of those things. They were my favorite books to write, they were in color, they were relatively short, very cool topic, back when there weren’t that many people doing this kind of work in SW.
It would be fun to update that book, but things have changed at the publisher, with new ownership and a lot of changes. Anyway, thanks for the comments!
