2013 edition cover was way better IMO.
Amazon.com has included a preview of the book (Look inside) and after making a comparison with the 2013 edition, i found out that the contents are exactly the same. So, do you think it’s worth to buy the new edition, given that the contents are practically the same (except for some small updates due to newer SW version i suppose)?
I would like to see more material for surfaces, weldments, motion analysis, molds etc.
Looks good! but I liked 2013 cover better, looked more professional, 2018 cover looks a bit..how to say..empty. Just my opinion, definitely going to buy it though!
Those numbers appear to be incorrect. It lists the thickness as 0.9 inch. My info says it will be 2.375 inches thick. The Amazon description appears to be a generic place holder. Number of chapters is also incorrect (there are 39 chapters)
That is good. In fact your 2013 bible was suck a wonderful book that makes me reluctant to preorder the new book as I think it will be difficult to be that good. I loved everything of the 2013 book. The contect, the writing style, the paper, the fonts, even the paper smell… hehe

Why the book will be that small in size? Just 5.9 x 8.3 inches according to Amazon?

Though wireframe model looked better 😛 I would say black background and silver rendering model always look appealing 😛
